Rabbi Nikki Lyn DeBlosi, PhD, was ordained in 2013 by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City. Her upcoming book, Abundant Love: Judaism and Today’s Polyamory is forthcoming from Wayne State University Press.

Rabbi Nikki holds a BA summa cum laude in Gender and Sexuality Studies (formerly the Women's Studies Department) from Harvard University and an MA and PhD in Performance Studies from New York University. Her academic areas of interest include queer theory, ethics, and gender and sexuality in both Judaism and popular culture.

Before pursuing graduate-level study, Rabbi DeBlosi worked as a campus organizer and writer for the Feminist Majority Foundation. Upon her ordination as a rabbi, she then worked for about a decade on the rabbinic staff of the pluralistic Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life/Hillel of New York University. There, she primarily served the Reform and LGBTQ Jewish communities. Her curriculum for an all-denominational conversational course called Sex Love and Romance became part of Hillel International’s official curriculum for its Jewish Learning Fellowship, the premiere pluralistic Jewish learning program on college campuses in North America.

Rabbi Nikki lives in Northern New Jersey with her wife, two sons, and adorable Labradoodle.
