Weddings and Vow Renewals
In 4-5 pre-wedding sessions, we’ll explore Jewish wedding customs so that together we can craft a day under the chupah that connects you and your community to a sense of spirituality, deep learning, and peoplehood. I approach wedding as the beginning of your marriage rather than the culmination of your dating life, so we’ll also take some time to talk family dynamics and your vision for your home together. I officiate at the Jewish weddings of LGBTQ, straight, dual-Jewish and interfaith families. I do not co-officiate with clergy persons of other faiths or perform secular or interfaith ceremonies.
Baby Naming and Welcoming Ceremonies
Learn about customs (ancient and contemporary) for welcoming children into the covenant of the Jewish people and give your child the gift of a Hebrew name that connects him/her/hir to thousands of years of our people’s history.
Reaching a milestone birthday? Seeking strength as you enter treatment for a health challenge? Embarking on a gender transition? I understand the power of ritual and tradition to shape and honor a life transition. Contact me if you want to shape a ceremony that speaks to you and your needs while connecting you to ancient Jewish traditions.
